Nuance Management Console
Entering user-specific text templates
Use the Nuance Management Console (NMC) to enter user-specific text templates. The CareConnection team will need to set you up for access before using the NMC.
Click here to open the NMC. Enter your user name and password.
Click on the "Manage" icon.
Find your user in one of the the Speech Anywhwere group under Good Shepherd.
Please note: If you choose the "Speech Anywhere" group without selecting an individual user, you will add the auto-text to everyone's profile.
Click on your user's username to see what auto-texts are already specified for that user.
If you click on the "Display all levels" box, you'll see what system auto-texts are also available to the user.
To add a new auto-text, click on the "Add" icon.
On the next screen, enter the auto-text name and actual content. The "Spoken Phrase" section will fill in automatically. Although the Console implies that you can format the text (e.g., bold, line centering and bullets), the system does not render any of these functions in PC Touch. Please use "_" to allow the user to jump to that portion of the auto-text using the phrase "next tag." Once you're done, you can click on "Save" to add the auto-text the user's profile. If you have more auto-texts to build for the user, click "Save and New."
When you're done, click on the funny-looking icon in the top left corner and select the "Log out" option.
